Solute Diffusion via CT

CT-Based Diffusion in Cartilage
We investigated how imaging parameters and solution properties affect measurements of CT contrast diffusion within cartilage. The analysis showed that both acquisition settings and solute composition strongly influence apparent diffusivity. These findings underscore the importance of experimental control in quantitative CT studies of cartilage transport.
Diffusion Mapping in Meniscus by CT
We applied dynamic contrast-enhanced CT to quantify solute diffusion through the knee meniscus. Time-resolved imaging revealed spatial variation in transport consistent with structural anisotropy. This approach links tissue architecture with transport properties in both healthy and diseased states.
